General Terms and Conditions (AGB)

Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH

§ 1 Registration

Registration for a course is made in writing (by email, via the website or by registration form). By registering, the participant confirms that they have read and accept the General Terms and Conditions. There is no entitlement to admission to a specific course. Places are allocated in the order of registration unless otherwise agreed.

§ 2 Contract Formation and Course Confirmation

The contract is formed when Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH accepts the registration by written course confirmation. The course confirmation specifies the type of course, dates, venue and price. Any deviation from the registration requires the agreement of both parties.

§ 3 Prices and Payment

The prices valid at the time of registration apply. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice and within the period stated thereon, unless a different payment agreement has been made. In the case of instalment payments, the agreed dates must be observed. In the event of default, default interest and any collection costs may be charged.

§ 4 Cancellation by the Participant

Free cancellation is possible until the deadline stated in the course confirmation. For later cancellations, the following fees may apply: up to a certain number of days before the course start, a percentage of the course fee; for cancellation shortly before or after the course start, the full course fee. The exact conditions are communicated in the course confirmation or course materials.

§ 5 Cancellation or Changes by Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH

Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH may cancel or postpone a course if there are too few participants. Course fees already paid will be refunded in full in this case. Any further liability for costs incurred (e.g. travel costs) is excluded unless there is intent or gross negligence.

§ 6 Lessons and Attendance

Lessons are delivered in accordance with the course description and course confirmation. Participants undertake to attend regularly. Missed lessons do not give rise to any entitlement to make-up lessons or refunds unless the absence is attributable to Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH.

§ 7 Materials and Intellectual Property

Teaching materials and documents provided are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or passed on to third parties without the written consent of Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH. Participation in the course only entitles you to personal use within the scope of the course.

§ 8 Liability

Subject to mandatory statutory provisions, Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH is only liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded insofar as permitted by law. Liability for indirect and consequential damage and for lost profit is excluded.

§ 9 Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy of Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH. By registering, the participant confirms that they have read the privacy policy.

§ 10 Final Provisions

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the contract is Kreuzlingen, insofar as permitted by law. If any provision of these GTC is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.

§ 11 Severability Clause

The invalidity or unenforceability of individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The parties undertake to replace the invalid provision with a valid arrangement that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
