Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH

§ 1 Registration

Registration for courses or private lessons takes place by signing a written registration form. Registration and payment of the invoice by the due date establish a binding contract.

§ 2 Conditions of participation

Participants under 18 years of age require the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

§ 3 Payment

Course fees must be paid by bank transfer no later than 7 days before the course starts. Partial payments or payments in instalments are accepted.

§ 4 Course delivery, postponement and cancellation

One lesson lasts 45 minutes. Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH undertakes to deliver the agreed lessons. Lessons that are cancelled will be made up.

There is no entitlement to instruction by a particular teacher.

Courses start once the specified minimum number of 5 participants is reached. If this number is not reached, the start of the course may be postponed or the course cancelled. Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH also reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses for organisational reasons.

§ 5 Withdrawal and termination

Participants may withdraw up to 14 days before the course starts without giving reasons. Withdrawal must be in writing.

For withdrawals between the 13th and 7th day before the course starts, 50 % of the course fees are payable.

For withdrawals from the 6th day before the course starts or after the course has started, the full amount will be charged.

In cases of prolonged illness certified by a doctor or in the event of an accident, Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH refunds lessons that have already been paid for but not used.

If a course has to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. a teacher being unavailable or too few participants), lessons already paid for but not used will also be refunded.

For private lessons: cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For later cancellations, the relevant lesson will be charged.

§ 6 Liability

Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH accepts no liability for accidents in the classrooms or on the way to and from the course. The same applies to loss, theft or damage to personal belongings. Participants are responsible for their own insurance.

§ 7 House rules

Participants undertake to comply with the house rules applicable in the classrooms. Repeated violations may result in exclusion from lessons.

§ 8 Data protection

Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH collects and processes personal data exclusively for handling registrations, organising courses and issuing invoices. Processing is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act. Data is not passed on to third parties.

§ 9 Copyright

Audio or image recordings during lessons are not permitted without express permission. Teaching materials may not be copied, distributed or made publicly accessible without the express consent of Deutschkurse Kreuzlingen GmbH.

§ 10 Additional agreements

Any deviations from these General Terms and Conditions must be in writing. Oral supplementary agreements are invalid.

§ 11 Severability clause

If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
