You already have basic knowledge and want to become more confident in everyday life and work in Switzerland? The A2 courses (A2.1 and A2.2) build on your A1 skills.
Language level A2 consists of two consecutive courses: A2.1 and A2.2. After a free placement check, you join the course that fits you directly.
After completing both A2 courses (A2.1 and A2.2), you can communicate in many everyday situations in Switzerland:

You do not have to start with A2.1: if you already have solid A2 basics, you can join A2.2 directly after a free placement check.
In course A2.1, you expand your vocabulary for important everyday situations and life together in Switzerland.

Depending on the course format, one sub-course (A2.1 or A2.2) lasts:
Arrange a free placement check via WhatsApp. We assess your language level and recommend the right course. Lateral entry into A2.2 is possible at any time.
Maximum 8 participants per group. This gives you enough attention and speaking time.
Yes, the course book (Schritte Plus Neu – Swiss edition) is included in the course price.
We recommend participating on site in Kreuzlingen – our interactive methodology works best in the course room. Online participation is possible on request.

We work with Schritte Plus Neu – Swiss edition from Hueber Verlag (book 3 for A2.1, book 4 for A2.2). This material is specifically designed for everyday life in German-speaking Switzerland.
With level A2, you can communicate in many everyday situations. However, for residence permit requirements, professional goals and naturalization, B1 is recommended.
You can pay in advance (full amount at once), in installments, or by monthly invoice.
Yes, you can take an A2 exam (e.g. telc German A2). Our teachers prepare you for this during the course. More information at Exam Preparation.
