2. Applicable Law
The revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) applies. Where we use services from providers based in the EU or EEA (e.g. Google, Meta, WhatsApp), the EU-DSGVO and its provisions on data transfers to third countries may additionally apply.

3.1 Data You Provide Actively
When you register, contact us or use forms, we may receive the following data:
- Name, first name, address
- Email address and phone number
- Details about requested courses, payment information and any other information you provide (e.g. messages)
3.2 Automatically Collected Technical Data
When you visit our website, our hosting partner metanet.ch or the systems used automatically collect technical data, e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited, time of access. This is done via server logs and, where applicable, analysis tools.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
We process your data in particular for the following purposes:
- Conduct and administration of courses and communication with you
- Invoicing and payment processing
- Responding to enquiries and support
- Improving our website and our services
- Compliance with legal retention and reporting obligations
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
5.1 Hosting (metanet.ch)
Our website is hosted by metanet.ch. The technical data mentioned in section 3.2 may be processed by metanet.ch in this context.
5.2 Payment Processing (TWINT)
We use TWINT for payment processing. The data required for the transaction is transmitted to the respective payment service providers.
5.3 WhatsApp Business
If you contact us via WhatsApp or we reach you via WhatsApp Business, the relevant data is processed by Meta/WhatsApp. Please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
5.4 Social Media
If you use our presence on social media channels (e.g. Facebook, Instagram), the respective platform terms and privacy policies of the providers (e.g. Meta) apply.
5.5 Google Analytics (GA4)
We may use Google Analytics GA4 to analyse how our website is used. Data may be transmitted to Google. Use is in compliance with data protection requirements (e.g. anonymisation, consent where required).

Where data is transferred to countries without an adequate level of data protection, we implement appropriate safeguards, in particular the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or equivalent measures, insofar as required by law.

- Course and invoice data: Generally at least 10 years to comply with tax and commercial retention obligations.
- Enquiries and correspondence: Generally 6 to 12 months after completion of processing, unless longer retention is required.
- Logs and technical data: Generally 7 to 30 days, unless longer storage is necessary for security reasons.
8. Data Security
We implement technical and organisational measures to protect your data:
- Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) when visiting our website
- Hosting with metanet.ch in accordance with common security standards
- Access restrictions on personal data (authorised persons only)

Under the revDSG you have, among other things, the right to information, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, as well as to data portability where provided by law.
